Gate style
Pedestrian gate*
The small gate that makes every day easier.
A single, person-sized gate for walking in and out: the front path, side access to the backyard, or a pool. Small, but it gets used more than any other part of the fence.

Honest advice
Is a pedestrian gate right for you?*
After 20+ years of building them, here’s when we’d recommend a pedestrian gate, and when we’d point you to something else.
It’s a great fit if…
You want easy everyday access
Walk in and out, collect the mail, or let visitors in without opening the driveway gate.
You need side access to the backyard
For bins, mowers and deliveries. Around 1 m wide fits most wheelie bins and mowers.
You need a pool gate
Pool gates must self-close and self-latch, with the latch out of children’s reach. We fit compliant hardware.
You might prefer something else if…
You move big things through regularly
Trailers, ride-on mowers or building materials need a wider single or double gate.
Consider: Swing gateSecurity is a top concern
A small gate is only as strong as its lock and hinges. Choose a keyed or keypad lock and heavy-duty hinges.

Colours and finishes
What colours can I choose?*
Any colour you choose. The metal is powder coated, so we can match almost anything: your house trim, a Colorbond colour or a custom shade.
Textures available:
- Matt
- Satin
- Gloss
- Textured
- Woodgrain-look (aluminium)
- If your gate is clad with Colorbond-style sheet to match your fence, the sheet colour comes from the supplier’s catalogue, while the frame can be powder coated to match.
